At SurfAid ,their core mission is to improve the health, well-being and resilience of remote communities connected to us through surfing.
They believe that positive, sustainable and long-lasting change can only be achieved through the active involvement of the locals in the places they work.
They strive for lasting improvement in the health, well-being and resilience of remote communities by implementing community-led development programs that are clear in their goals, effective in their implementation and subject to continuous monitoring and evaluation.
In recognition of SurfAid’s remarkable contributions and the invaluable work they continue to do, a third of the proceeds from the auction will be dedicated to SurfAid.
Ethan’s charity partner is OneWave.
OneWave is a non-profit surf community raising awareness of mental health through a simple recipe…saltwater therapy, surfing and fluro. We believe everyone should have the chance to ride waves and openly talk about mental health without being judged.
Since launching in Bondi in 2013, OneWave has held Fluro Friday events at over 200 beaches across more than 50 countries, raising awareness around mental health, reducing stigma and helping people free the funk.
