SBIA ROUNDTABLE, MAY 26

The next Surf Industry Roundtable will take place at the Coogee Bay Hotel on Thursday, May 26. The roundtable will be a prelude to the Surf Industry Awards, which are on that night at the Crown Plaza, also in Coogee. This is a great opportunity for those attending the awards to also make the most of their travel time to Coogee by attending the Roundtable as well.

The roundtable will consist of three sessions covering some interesting and relevant topics.
The first will involve a SBIA Board update and follow up discussions on a couple of topics from the March Roundtable, including the implementation of digital catalogues for the industry.
We will also have the results of the latest consumer survey, which attracted over 13,000 respondents. The discussion will look at key changes and trends from the 2014 consumer survey.

The second session will cover staff training and we’ll have a presentation by John Blake from Sales Breakthrough Solutions. John has been a regular contributor to the SBIS newsletter and he’ll be giving us the rundown on the Velpic Online training platform that will soon be available for SBIA retail members

The final session will be an open discussion about retail KPIs and ways to strengthen the relationship between brand sales reps and retailers. This topic will no doubt generate some lively discussion and will be facilitated by Clint Fraser from Davidson Business Advisors.
