Surfrider Foundation South Coast invite you to participate in the Surfrider ILLAWARRA CLEAN BEACH FESTIVAL at North Wollongong beach on Saturday 20th October from 9am. This year’s event is going to be bigger and better than last year, and they would love it if you could support them in any way by providing prizes, media exposure, press, editorial or better still – by volunteering on the day.

The Illawarra Clean Beach Festival is about the community coming together with many marine environmental ‘not for profit’ organisations doing a massive beach clean. They want to show that the community cares about our waves and beaches. It’s a fun day for the family, where everyone can get involved.

The Surfrider South Coast GromFest tag team surf Finals will be held on the day from 8am. They have also invited the Disabled Surfing Association to come and share the stoke out in the water. They also have a local artist volunteering to do sand sculptures.

Surfrider are asking you for ANY products to give away as prizes, or if your organisation could send along volunteers to come and give them a hand on the day, or maybe your company wants to get involved in their Corporate beach cleans.

Last year, 24 organisations participated and they had about 450 volunteers turn up. This year they want it to be bigger with participation from everyone across the ocean loving and surfing community.
