In celebration of 50 Years of Surfing at Rip Curl, the Ultimate Surfing Company held a very special birthday dinner last night at the RACV Resort in Torquay.
Leading into the Easter weekend for the Rip Curl Pro, and following the Rip Curl International Conference, the RACV hosted 300 guests from over 50 countries around the world.
The night was filled with great speeches, loads of history and lots of laughs spearheaded by Rip Curl’s Marketing Chairman Neil Ridgway, alongside WSL Commentator and Rip Curl Ambassador Rosy Hodge.
Founders Brian Singer, Doug Warbrick and Francois Payot were surrounded by the likes of Gabriel Medina, Mick Fanning, Owen Wright as well as former Rip Curl Pro champions Damien Hardman, Tom Curren and Simon Anderson.
The night was a true testament to the amazing history behind Rip Curl.
Congratulations to Brian, Claw and Francois on reaching such a milestone.
Happy 50th Birthday Rip Curl.
